PeopleSLAAP was imagined and designed by Tyler Kendall during his time as a graduate student in the Duke University-NC State University joint PhD program in sociolinguistics. His early work on the project was supported by the NCSU Libraries Digital Initiatives and in particular Amanda French, who joined him in working on the project as a CLIR post-doc fellow in the Libraries at the time. In recent years, SLAAP has been supported by the NCSU College of Humanities and Social Sciences IT group, and in particular Daniel Henninger. Many people have helped with and been involved in SLAAP over the years. The current team is: Tyler Kendall, PhD | Project Coordinator & Architect Robin Dodsworth, PhD Charlie Farrington, PhD Daniel Henninger Jeff Mielke, PhD Erik Thomas, PhD Walt Wolfram, PhD Charlotte Vaughn, PhD |
